Education and Outreach (E-O) activities highlighted the emerging field of Community Remote Sensing through hands-on demonstrations, workshops and displays. During these events, college and precollege students participated in a wide variety of activities. Students were allowed to map, evaluate, and observe the Earth’s environment through interactive workshops and displays. Hands-on events were held to encourage participants to boost their understanding of remote sensing and how it will influence their future.
