The Mathematics/ Science and Aerospace Magnet Program is designed to prepare students for the most rigorous mathematics, science and technology courses offered at colleges and universities, and to increase their career opportunities in related areas. Students have the option to pursue occupations such as geo-science, pollution research, conservation, aviation, robotics,and engineering.

The magnet program provides an exceptional researchl/laboratory environment through the use of specialize state-of-the-art laboratory equipment,telecommunication, mentorship, and internship programs. Experimental Design and Analysis are taught as an interdisciplinary course supplement in science, mathematics, and English providing students a competitive edge in concept application, data analysis, experimental design and technical writing skills. Oral assessment is a vital part of the program. At the end of a given period, students are required to present completed portions of their work before a panel of instructors.
