UPON ENTRY

• G. P. A. - 2.0 or better
• TEACHER RECOMMENDATION
• MATHEMATICS - GEOMETRY

As students pursue academic excellence, we encourage them to accept the magnet challenge which includes

• taking four units of mathematics and science, and at least one unit of technology education; participating in planned magnet activities;
  
  
• pursuing Advanced Placement enrollment;
  
  
• testing early for the PSAT and SAT
  
  
• demonstrating good citizenship; and maintaining an excellent attendance record.
