CWM - Workshops

Workshops in this years celebration included areas such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Computer Spreadsheets, Scavenger Hunts, and the Mathematics of Flight. Additionally there were other workshops such as: NASA exhibits, Algebra, Decimal to Fraction, Math Magic, and even a workshop on Calculating Car Payments. Several members of the ECSU faculty and students in the ONR/NRTS programs as well as visiting teachers and professors provided outstanding information to the girls. The day was focused on providing a look at how women, both past and present, have triumphed in math and how it can affect their own lives.
