Summer 2002 GLOBE High School Research Program
The Summer 2002 GLOBE High School Research Program at Elizabeth
City State University has been established by Dr. Linda Hayden,
Principal Investigator of the ONR/NRTS Program. These students
will work with Mr. Ervin Howard (team mentor) for four weeks.
Their project will involve establishing the ECSU GLOBE environmental
data monitoring stations for hydrology, atmosphere, land cover/biology
and soil. Once the sites have been established; the students
will use GLOBE protocols to collect environmental data and
to report that data electronically to the nataional GLOBE
program.
The students will document their research experience by designing
a team website using HTML languages.
The students will present their learning experience of the
knowledge of the GLOBE's domains by completing their research
report and presenting an oral report on July 18, 2002. |
