Dr. Linda B. Hayden, ONR-NERT Principal Investigator

Dr. Linda B. Hayden is the Principal Investigator for the Office of Naval Research-Nurturing ECSU Research Talent Program along with being the PI for the NASA-Network Resources and Training Site at ECSU.  She has made serveral professional presentations and has been awarded millions of dollars in grant monies for educational purposes.  She received her B.S. from Virginia State University, a M.A. from the University of Cincinnati, a M.S. from Old Dominion University, and a Ph.D. from American University in Washington, D.C.

    Dr. Georgia S. Lawrence, Professor and Chair of Mathematics, ECSU

Dr. Georgia S. Lawrence is the Professor and Chair of the department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Elizabeth City State University.  In addition to teaching classes, she handles and oversees all aspects of the department.  Dr. Lawrence, in the past, has served as Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs - Administration, as an assistant professor at Wake Forest University, along with serving in positions at East Carolina University, North Carolina State University, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She received her B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and her Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
