The closing ceremonies were held in the Vaughn Center. Ms. Sheryl Bradford, ECSU Research Operations Manager for the Natural Sciences, opened the ceremony. She then welcomed and introduced the guest speaker, Tiwana Walton-Copeland. Tiwana is currently completing her Doctorate Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.

Ms. Walton-Copeland completed her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education at Elizabeth City State University in 2010. She went on to obtain her Master's in Systems Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2013.members and students.
