The closing ceremonies were held in the K. E. White Graduate Center. Dr. Linda Hayden, Director of the Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research at ECSU, opened the ceremony. ECSU Interim Chancellor Charles L. Becton welcomed the girls and their sponsors.
Dr. Aliecia McClain, Professor & Chair of Chemistry Department, Norfolk State University, Norfolk, VA, Director of the DNIMAS Program for STEM, was the guest speaker.
