The closing ceremonies were held in the K. E. White Graduate Center. Dr. Andrea Lawrence, Spelman University, was the guest speaker. Dr. Lawrence spoke on the opportunities within the field of mathematics and the necessities to succeed. Dr. Linda Hayden, Director of the Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research at ECSU, welcomed the girls and their sponsors.
