Dr. Andrea Lawrence is past-president and current board member of ADMI. She joined the faculty of Spelman College in 1983. She is now Chair of the Department of Computer Science. She received her Ph.D., Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. Her current Research Interests include Human Computer Interaction, particularly using computer animations to teach computer algorithms. Dr. Lawrence has special Teaching Interests including Programming Languages, Artificial Intelligence, animations and visualization.
