The closing ceremonies were held in the K. E. White Graduate Center. Dr. Cynthia Warrick, Dean of the ECSU School of Mathematics, Science and Technology was the guest speaker.

The students presented their enthusiasm for math through their "Math Cheers" which were judged with the winners being Southeast Halifax High School in first place and Central Middle School taking second. Awards were also given out for the best essays entitled "I Want to be Like Her" and the Math Sprint Contest during the closing.
