Workshop
The five-day workshop focused on the GLOBE Basic Science Protocol measurements in Atmosphere, Land Cover Biology, Soils and Hydrology. In addition, participants from the US and Africa were given the opportunity to develop collaborative relationships on many issues such as cross Atlantic scientific research, and ways to empower and engage minority students into the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics while establishing long term partnerships at the university and school levels.
