The July 13th closing session was opened by a welcome from Dr. Ali Khan, Dean of the Mathematics, Science and Technology School at ECSU. A meeting of the IEEE-GRSS Chapter followed with reports on the 8th International Conference on Remote Sensing of Marine and Coastal Environments in Nova Scotia, Canada by Ms. Eunice Smith and Mr. Napoleon Paxton, the NOAA Data Users Training by Mrs. Elizabeth Noble, and upcoming events including the IGARSS 05 meeting in Seoul, Korea and the WAIS Workshop in Sterling, Virginia. The meeting was followed by more research team reports and a presentation by Mr. Charles Luther of the Office of Naval Research on ONR Sensing and Systems. A reception and poster session rounded out the days events.
