Hydrology Protocols 

On Saturday, June 19th, the URE OMS research students continued their lessons in Hydrology Protocols led by Mr. Ervin Howard, Education Program Manager. Hydrology protocols address water quality issues such as transparency, pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity, alkalinity, nitrates and phosphates. Water from local streams, ponds, and rivers were tested during this session. Upcoming and past sessions include both hydrology and atmospheric protocols which will be incorporated with remote sensing research.
