Underway Research

On June 8th, Spencer Robinson, Tiffany Fogg, and DeQuincy Faulcon, URE OMS 2004 research students, were able to get underway with their mentor, Mr. Kevin Foss on the Elizabeth River in Norfolk, Virginia. The team, Dolphin Behavior Correlation with SST, will provide ground truthing for sea surface temperature in relation to Advance Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) readings and document dolphin encounters while underway.
