Hydrology Protocols 

On Saturday, June 5th, the URE OMS research students were lead through a session on Hydrology Protocols by Mr. Ervin Howard, Education Program Manager. Hydrology protocols address water quality issues such as transparency, pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity, alkalinity, nitrates and phosphates. Water from local streams, ponds, and rivers were tested during this session. Upcoming sessions will include both hydrology and atmospheric protocols which will be incorporated with remote sensing research.
