I was born in Virginia, and grew up in Maryland, graduating from South River High School in 2009. I currently attend The Univeristy of Maryland: Baltimore County, where I am a junior with a mathematics major and secondary education certification. Semester after semester, I find myself with my head buried deep inside a mathematics textbook, but I know in the end being able to teach others the joy of math, but I know all this hard work will be worth it.

This page was specficially created to document my research in the summer 2011 Undergraduate Research Experience in Ocean, Marine, and Polar Science, located at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. I am a member of the Mathematics Education Team, led by Dr. Darnell Johnson.
