The Undergraduate Research Experience in Ocean, Marine, and Polar Sciences has an objective of promoting professional growth within minority students through selected research opportunities. As a group of undergraduate students the Mathematics Education Team was composed of Matheamtics Education majors who conducted research based on the Distant Learning Network that is implimented by the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
