Mrs. Wilkins received a MS degree in Geography from the University of Maryland-College Park in 2003 and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Elizabeth City State University in 2001. As a Research Associate for CERSER her responsibilities include processing and analyzing NOAA Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer and Orbview-2 Sea-Viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor data, mentoring undergraduate research teams, and conducting remote sensing and GIS training workshops.
