Here at ECSU I am involved in the distinguished Center of Excellence for Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER) program. In this program we are introduced and trained in many aspects of computer science, such as different distributions in operating systems. We become very familiar with how to use these programs so that we are able to compete in the professional world. To me, that is an honor especially since I have been interested in mathematics and computers since the fourth grade. Opportunities that jump out to me like this are exactly what I need so I can make my impact on this relentlessly technology enhancing world.
By the year of 2012, I plan on graduating from this university so that I too can compete in this world. After graduating, I will most likely jump into graduate school obtaining my Masters degree followed by my Doctorate.
