I am currently a sophomore with an overall GPA of 3.3. Continuing into this year I set my goal on keeping a strong GPA while at the same time getting involved with more on-campus activities. In the long run I plan to expand my computer certifications with the addition of CISCO; this will complement the certifications I have already obtained (A+, Net+, MCP, MCSA). Past graduation, I hope to enroll into a graduate school with financial support from either my place of employment, or a scholarship.

During my tinier here at Elizabeth City State University I aim to network with my fellow peers as well as faculty members to build lifelong connections to help me along my path to success. While on campus I have been involved with many vocational experiences some being the Spellman Computer Science Olympiad, the Honda All-star Challenge, and soon to be affiliated with the National Society of Black Engineers. Each of these programs has given me experience that have educated as well as opened my eyes to new concepts I was previously not accustomed to.

Since my second semester here at ECSU I have been involved with a research project which allowed me to travel to New Hampshire and Kansas to share my research. Traveling to new places for research sharing  have proven themselves to be a great chance to network with professionals that can help you along you own educational path. These opportunities have become an aspect of my education that is irreplaceable. This summer I also experienced my first out of state internship in Columbus, Oh. I worked for the Department of Defense's Finance and Accounting Service. Here I not only worked with two of my collegiate peers, but with professionals that were once in the same place in life as I. While on the job I learned more knowledge contributing to my career than any of my other experiences.

With the collaboration of these experiences I hope to continue with my graduate education up to my Ph. D. in Information Technology specializing in Project Management. This educational background will pave the way to a flourishing career climaxing with a Chief position in a well establish company or educational institution.
