Professional Statement:

I have always dreamed of being a person of science. Around November 2007, I decided to attend Elizabeth City State University and major in Computer Science and Mathematics. During the summer of 2008, I briefly attended a program by the name of Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in Science (LSAMPS), where I researched the effect of viruses on computers and the different forms of viruses that can infect those processors.
Come Fall 2008, I decided to participate in the Center of Excellence for Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER). I have learned an ample amount of material which involved programs such as Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I am also receiving training in a Matrices application also known as MatLab. The experience that I have acquired in this organization has been very fundamental to my major and is helping me grow professionally.

Upon graduation  here at Elizabeth City State University, I plan to attend Graduate School pursue a doctorates degree in Chemical Engineering and better the environment around me.
