Computer Science is one of those fields you have to be born to do. The love of computers, their language and their possibilities is not something that is just usually obtained. The first time I was introduced to this field was at the age of 3. I was sitting with my uncle playing a video game. At that time I didn’t notice, but this game was created with intricate coding and professional skills. My love for computers grew stronger as I grew up. There are endless possibilities with computers now days. They are used for entertainment, education, and to aid the ill.

I have chosen to major in computer science and minor in remote sensing.  This course will allow me to follow my dream to work with computers, and make an impact in this field. The training that I have, and will receive from The Center of Remote Sensing Education and Research, will help prepare me for the obstacles that lay ahead of me. I know that if I follow the advice and the aid that is given to me by those who make the CERSER program possible, I will excel at anything I put my mind to.
After graduation at Elizabeth City State University, I plan to obtain my masters degree in Computer Science. Upon doing this, I wish to withhold an internship while attending graduate school.
