As
a child I always found myself wanting to know how things work. How is
a remote able to change a station without wires? How is a computer able
to give the answer to complex math questions in seconds? Throughout my
years as an adolescent I found myself always taking things apart to see
what was going on inside. That same logic of thinking I continue to use
today.
I am a freshman at Elizabeth City State University majoring in computer
science with a minor in mathematics. Through a scholarship with the Center
of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER) I was
able to attend school. Currently with CERSER under the group leadership of Mr. Jeff Wood I am working on reconstruction the CERSER wesbite from the ground up. Since being here I have been inducted into the
Honors Program and the Global Leadership Academy. After completing my
Bachelors of Science I will attend graduate school to further my education.
Technology is the future. Achieving success is not an option, but rather
a requirement I have made for myself. You have to be willing to do what
it takes, which may include making sacrifices in order to achieve greatness.
