Professional Statement

I am currently an undergraduate at Elizabeth City State University. I’m from Ahoskie, NC, and I graduated from Hertford County High School June, 2007. My major is Computer Science with a minor in mathematics. My expected graduation date is May 2011.
Computers have interested me since my early childhood. This interest influenced me to choose Computer Science as my major. In high school I took every computer class offered to enhance my skills not only for college but for my upcoming years dealing with computers. It is a pleasure not only being a mighty Viking but also being a member of CERSER (Center of Remote Sensing Education and Research Program). This program allows you to learn and gain valuable experiences that you will need for a good job. I plan on being a very participating member in this program. I plan to receive what this program has to offer by learning everything that I can.
