My name is Shaquera D. Mosley and I am a Computer Science major with a minor in GIS Remote Sensing here at  Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  My educational goal plan is to earn a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with a concentration in remote sensing from ECSU. After earning my Bachelors Degree I plan to then further my education and obtain my Masters Degree and later my Ph D to pursue my dreams of becoming a meteorologist.

As I plan to pursue my dreams of becoming a meteorologist, I am determined not to let anything stand in my way. While furthering my knowledge in this institute of higher learning, I am prepared to accept any challenges that may come my way and handle them with the confidence that I will need to become successful in achieving my goals.

While here at ECSU, I have began on my path to achieving my goals by working with various programs in the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Undergraduate Research Training sessions. These training sessions gave me the opportunity to work with UNIX, Dream weaver, HTML, Java Script, Satellite Imagery, and many other programs. As I worked with these programs I have learned many things that I feel will deepen my understanding of the field in which I am studying in and will also help me to further my education. During the summer of 2006, I intend to take on an internship with The National Weather Service. There I will apply the knowledge that I have obtained from the training sessions here at ECSU and use it to the best of my ability to further my research and aid my internship.
