On
January 16-19, 2003, several students in their junior year at ECSU
attended the FOCUS 2003 program held at Georgia Institute of Technology
in Atlanta, Georgia.
FOCUS is designed
to give prospective African American graduate students and faculty
an opportunity to receive an overview of the academic programs at
Georgia Tech and participate in the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. celebrations.
Focus 2003 also provided financial alternatives and assisted in
the overall decision-making process for selecting a graduate school.
