Students participating in this years program had a wide range of workshop opportunities to take advantage of. Workshops from Ground Penetrating Radar to Global Positioning Systems were available. These were designed to expose them to the applications of mathematics in our lives. Other workshops such as Discovering Female Mathematicians, Mathematics of Electricity, and Aerospace Math Mysteries challenged the girls to widen their perspectives on math. Several members of the ECSU faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as visiting teachers and professors provided hands on instruction and training for the students.
