The 2003 K-12 Earth Science Summer Program’s objective is to promote an introductory development of middle and high school students through their participation in understanding the Earth’s as a system.

These students will work with Mr. Ervin Howard (Team Mentor) for two weeks. The program involves learning fundamentals of earth science utilizing GLOBE protocols such as Atmosphere Investigation, Hydrology Investigation, Soil Investigation, Land Cover/Biology Investigation and Remote Sensing/Satellite Imagery.

The students also performed several experiments involving these protocols and remote sensing/satellite imagery.
