Research Project Description

This research project was supported in part by the appointment of Dr. Linda Hayden to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Research Participation Program administered by the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education through an interagency agreement between the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Commerce." The assigned project involved design, implementation, and testing of a Intranet query system for use by the Wakefield Weather Forecast Office. Extension of the Norfolk post-1947 and Richmond post-1920 database, to include data from 1871- the present, is also a part of the project.
