The GLOBE program has been a very interesting experience thus far. It taught us many things, from old to new. It has been of great assistance in enhancing our knowledge about the earth and the surroundings that are apart of it. The experiments were also helpful because they were hands-on. It gave us a better understanding of what was being taught to us.

Not only does GLOBE involve oral learning, but physical and visual as well. Along with three other high school seniors, we performed many tasks that were apart of the program. We re-enacted the water cycle, took water samples to find the pH and dissolved oxygen, record longitude, latitude, and elevation of the earth daily, and watched many GLOBE videos of student investigations. We also created our own, personal web pages that includes a link to the GLOBE website.

There are many benefits from the GLOBE program. It instructs teachers to facilitate students in improving their achievement in math and science. It helped me because I actually got a chance to be apart of what I was learning, helping me understand more. It also made me become more aware of the environment and its contents.
