The Undergraduate Research Experience in Ocean, Marine and Polar Sciences has an objective of promoting professional growth within minority students through selected research opportunities. As a group of undergraduate students, the Mathematics Education Team, we took on the task of gathering data from End of Grade (EOG) exams from a North Carolina school district in an attempt to compare previous EOG scores to scores after a math sprint tutorial model on a select number of students that failed the EOG test twice in the academic year of 2011. |
