On July 24-29, 2010 Elizabeth City State University students and researchers attended the 2011 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium in Vancouver, Canada. This was the 31st annual symposium for GRSS which brought together world-class scientists, engineers and educators engaged in the fields of geoscience and remote sensing. The 2011 Symposium theme was “Beyond the Frontiers: Expanding our Knowledge of the World.”
