On September 21-23, 2016, students from Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) attended the National Technical Association’s (NTA) 88th National Conference and Technical Career Opportunity Fair held Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Representing ECSU at the conference were Disaiah Bennett, Joselyn Hathaway, Jessica Hathaway, Reginald Kelley, Thomas Johnson III, and Kevin Benton. Featured speakers included Dr. Christine Darden, Leland Melvin, Dr. Michael Spencer, Dr. Jayfus Doswell, and Dr. Eugene Deloatch.

Students presented previous research completed with the Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER) program.The following is a list of the students and their presentations:
