| On September 21-23, 2016, students from Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) attended the National Technical Association’s (NTA) 88th National Conference and Technical Career Opportunity Fair held Howard University in Washington, DC. Representing ECSU at the conference were Derek Morris and Antonio Guion. These students presented previous research completed with the Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER) program at ECSU. Derek presented “Update of the CERSER TeraScan Cataloguing System and the TeraScan Image Processing Scripts” while Antonio presented “Implementation of an interactive database interface utilizing HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL in support of water quality assessments in the Northeastern North Carolina Pasquotank Watershed.” This year's NTA theme was “A Tribute to Excellence in Technology.” |
