 On Thursday, April 19, 2012, Elizabeth City State University hosted a day dedicated to presenting undergraduate research projects from throughout the University. Following the day's theme of "Undergraduate Research: Seeing Tomorrow Today", students made both oral and poster presentations to the faculty, staff, and students at the University. Dr. Valerie Ashby,
Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill along with Dr. Sisir K. Dutta, Emeritus Professor at Howard University delivered presentations during the Research Day Luncheon.
Research Day is sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, led by Dr. Ali Khan, Provost.
