On October 14, 2009 Dr. Linda Hayden, Director of the Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER) at Elizabeth City State University, attended the National Science Foundation Science and Technology Centers Educators Conference in Dallas, Texas. This was a working conference focused on connecting the work done in the Centers and the steps to create joint projects and research studies. Several presentations were made including those from:

This conference was also part of a broader national STEM outreach to improve science teaching and learning for diverse learners. The time here allowed participants to explore how an STC-based educational research agenda might be developed. |
