ÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝÝ Ý I am the type of person who likes to build on what I have already accomplished.Ý When I do a task I want to do it better than what I did the last time.Ý While working on a task I am willing to listen to others to get ideas so that the job that I am working on will be done at its best.Ý I know that in order for me to be a successful person as a whole I must be able to listen and this is a quality that I possess.Ý

ÝÝÝÝÝÝ In technology I am developing my skills at a good pace.Ý I understand the concepts of technology education.Ý I have had great success in the classes that come under technology education in the past.Ý In these classes I have learned how to make technical drawings.Ý In my ACAD class I have learned how to create many objects on the computer.Ý I can use ACAD for many projects in Technology Education.Ý ACAD can also be used in the other classes to help with the design of a project.Ý Also in Technology Education I have learned about the C language and how it is used in the computer industry.Ý I have realized that the C language is a very key component in understanding computer languages.Ý I also understand how technology plays a role in everyoneís lives.Ý This is a major concept in technology education. Along with this I know how I must also teach these concepts to students.Ý By getting a strong foundation in my under graduate studies of Technology Education I can use this for a graduate school experience.Ý By going to graduate school I will be able to get more information in Technology Education as well as develop a curriculum that I may be able to teach from one day.Ý By going to graduate school I will have more opportunities to learn more about advances in technology.Ý My main responsibility will be making sure my students will learn the important concepts in technology.Ý By me going through a technology education program, I know what is needed by students in order to be successful in the course.Ý I can also relate to situations or projects that I had to complete in order for my students to understand the task that is set before them.Ý I believe it is my experience that I have in this course, which will help me teach this lesson to my students.Ý I will remember what kept me interested, while I was taking courses in the technology education program and use them to keep my students interested.Ý Also by having experience in this subject I will know when the students are trying to cheat on their work.Ý But the main characteristic that needs to be a hands on type of work setting.Ý By having a hands on type of work session I can keep my students busy at all times and it will keep them from becoming bored of their subject.Ý Also having a hands on learning process will also reduce the risk of me having discipline problems in my classroom.Ý By getting rid of the discipline problems it will give me more time to emphasize teaching my students.Ý

ÝÝÝÝÝÝ ÝÝÝÝÝÝ By having all these qualities it will help me be successful at teaching.Ý If I use all the qualities I have, it will give my classes a better chance at being successful.Ý By this happening it will cause me to become a successful teacher.Ý In order to be a successful teacher I will have apply all that I have learned in school such as concepts in my drawing class and graphics class.Ý I will have to be thorough in my lessons on ACAD or while I am working with photography.Ý In my teaching I have to make sure that each of students will know the procedures used while developing a photograph or learning why an ACAD drawing has to be precise.Ý Whether I am teaching ACAD, photography, or manufacturing I will be teaching my students how to solve problems in a simulated real life situation.

ÝÝÝÝÝÝ ÝWhen my students realize that I am there to help them succeed in life then they will know that I care about them and that not only do they need to be successful in my class, but in life.Ý But the most rewarding thing about teaching are students that want to follow the footsteps of the teachers that have taught them.Ý Not only does this make a teacher feel good, but also it lets the teacher know that they had a positive influence on a student.Ý It is this influence is what makes the student want to be like that teacher.Ý It is this influence that has led me to become a teacher.Ý While I was in the technology education at my high school I learned good lessons from my teachers.Ý But I also learned good lessons about life under these teachers and after I graduated from high school I look at these teachers as great friends and people who have influenced me on what I wanted to become in life.ÝÝ
