The purpose of the research was to document the Yucca Mountain Project's (YMP)
wide area network (WAN) for the IT Network Operations division. Configuration,
speed, etc. of the network devices such as routers and servers were viewed along
with the graphical representations of the network devices using Cisco View on
the Silicon Graphics workstation. The graphical software XV on the Silicon
Graphics workstation was used to grab, crop, and save the images from Cisco View
as jpeg. The images were transported to the Compaq and opened in Visio
Enterprise 5.0 for documentation utilizing the information from Cisco View.
