Neighborhood Networks Grand Opening!!


HUD's (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) Neighborhood Networks Week Celebration included the Grand Opening of the Neighborhood Networks Center/Computer Center at Herrington Village Apartments in Elizabeth City, NC. Attending the grand opening celebration was Dr. Mickey Burnim, Chancellor of Elizabeth City State University, Dr. Albert Walker, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dr. Gerald McCants, Interim Vice Chancellor of Institutional Advancement. Dr. Shirley Turnage from the RRVC also attended. Mr. Morris Autry, Director of ECSU's Community Development Program, provided leadership and HUD funding for the project.
