Summer 1998 K-12 Educator Training
July 6 - 16, 1998



The 1998 Summer Program will focus on Integration of the WWW into the Classroom, NASA Math/Science Education Projects, Creating Webpages and NASA's Learning Technology Program. In addition to the training, the program also offers field trips and guest lectures. Participants will meet 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. All training will be conducted at the NASA NRTS training site located in 113 Lester Hall on the campus of Elizabeth City State University. Participants must arrange their own transportation. Lunch will be provided each day. The program is open to all K-12 educators in North Carolina and Virginia.
Stipend: $500.00

How to Apply:

Application form is printed on the back of this flier. With the completed form, you must submit the following information (postmarked on or before May 29, 1998).
    1. Well written statement of interest. Explain what you hope to gain from the program and how you plan to use the training during the academic year 1998-99. Indicate your current knowledge of and use of the WWW along with the access you have to the Internet.

    2. Letter of support from your principal or other school official.

    3. A current resume.
