We are proud to announce that Mrs. Norma Moore Clark (a fourth Grade teacher) is the 1995-96 recipient for Teacher of the Year for Emily Spong Elementary School. Mrs. CLark has taught in Portsmouth for six years and all have been spent in the fourth grade. Her outstanding ability to deal with students allowed her to stand out among her colleagues. Mrs. Clark is a graduate of Norfolk State University and Regent University. She ha a masters degree in elementary education and has been complimented repeatedly for a job well done with the students.
