Norfolk Naval Shipyard Partnership

In October of 1995, Norfolk Naval Shipyard and Emily Spong Elementary school entered into a partnership agreement under the Navy's Personal Excellence Partnership. Program objectives include developing activities to include student achievement, student attendance and attitude. These goals are met through the collaborative efforts of the volunteers, staff and approximately 250 African American students of Emily Spong Elementary School.
