- Class created an experience story of fieldtrip
using actual scanned pictures from the trip.
Children recorded themselves on the computer reading the story.

content vocabulary lists and
basal reading series lists.
- Teacher created reading comprehension program to present questions
using format in which children would be tested.

Career Highlights
- Applied for and received Portsmouth Schools Foundation
Mini-Grant for project entitled "Cooperating with the Classics".
Project integrated cooperative learning techniques with use of whole-class sets of
literature. Developed Activity Cards which provided reading skills instruction and
integrated books with entire curriculum. (1992-1993)
- Participated in
initial implementation of Magnet School Earh and Spce Curriculum. Primary focus
was on integrating reading/writing with earth/space science themes. (1993-1995)
- Sponsored Douglass Park Computer club. Coached four teams for the
Great Computer Challenge in the areas of Graphic Arts and Desktop Publishing (1995).
