Science Week March 18-21, 2003 The
first annual NASA Space Science Week was held on March 18-21,
2003 on the campus of Bennett College. The overall purpose
of NASA Space Science Week was to share with the Bennett College
Community and the overall Greensboro Community NASA science,
education, technology and research. The week included participation
from scientists, administrators and educators from the various
NASA Centers along with other agencies. This week consisted
of research, seminars, hands-on workshops, exhibits and other
special sessions that focused on space technologies and exploration
that impact the future of life on earth. Researchers in molecular
biology, geophysics, engineering, astrobiology, earth and
planetary atmospheres, science and medicine and educators
amongst others shared their expertise. The agenda
for the week is available for viewing also.
