| Memorial Missionary Baptist Church held its Second Annual Black Family Technology Night on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 with 25 participants. Coordinators for the event were Mrs. Sheila B. Spence, Youth Ministry Advisor, Ms. Gladys Spellman, Ms. Kandace Franklin and Ms. Jasmine Simpson. Ms. Gladys Spellman and Ms. Kandacce Franklin shared the duties of Mistress of Ceremony. The program began with prayer by Ms. Shyvonne Barnett. Ms. Kandace Franklin introduced the speaker, Mrs. Jocelyn Robinson, Technology Teacher at Northeastern High School. Entertainment was provided by the Memorial's Praising Cherubim Spiritual Dancers. Ms. Janisha Simpson issued door prizes and assisted with refreshments. Mr. Joal Hathaway represented the ECSU NRTS Center. Dr. Roosevelt Askew, II is pastor. | |||
