Open Door Christian Fellowship Community Center is a non-profit public organization that offers technology courses in computers, tutoring in science and math, and educational youth outings. The church's heritage provides a rich background for serving an increasingly multicultural community. The community center provides a challenging and supportive environment that prepares people of all ages for knowledgeable, responsible participation and leadership in an ever changing, technologically advanced society. Through it's teaching and community outreach, the center seeks to identify and address the needs of our rural coastal community.
Goal: To converge all resources that are designed to support technology education into a focused program that advances and continually improves the educational program in technology for all citizens of Camden and Pasquotank counties.
Objectives:
1. An enhancement and an expansion of our current computer resources, including hardware and software.
2. To establish reductions in the achievement disparities among students that can be attributed to socioeconomic status, race and gender by offering resume preparation classes and interview techniques workshops.
Goal: To Implement a program that significantly enhances student achievement through tutoring.
Objectives:
1. To create learning centers. Creation of learning centers for extended academic activities after regular school hours. Strategies to provide supplemental after school academic activities to enhance mathematics, science, and technology education, and will encourage community and parental participation. In addition, summer programs for youth that will concentrate on career explorations , communication skills, and aviation.
2. Specifically, the program will assist students in building self-esteem/confidence in their academic pursuits.

Goal: To implement a program that exposes the youth to advancements and discoveries of the world.
Objective:
1. Throughout the years, we will sponsor a number of enrichment activities, which have proven to be beneficial to the youth of the community.
