This conference brought together the science, research, academic
and government communities to discuss advancements and opportunities
for continued research in NOAA-related sciences. Scientists and research
faculty, particularly from Minority Serving Institutions, discussed
satellites and remote sensing, weather observations, coastal and marine
fisheries, and climate issues. Students were able to explore their
interests in NOAA-related sciences and interact with scientists, academicians
and professionals in marine and atmospheric research. |
