Description: The preservice students of EDUC 203 are participating in a STEM project that involves creating a lesson plan based on a STEM connection such as GPS, climate change, weather, environmental science integrated with K-12 subject areas. Subject areas will include geography, biology, mathematics a with 21st century learning theme. The preservice students will incorporate a webquest as a technology component to their technology integration and lesson plan development. The preservice students will utilize one of the phases of technology integration called the Tech-PACK model in creating their STEM connections with the subject areas and technology. The preservice students are focusing on phase I of the Tech-Pack model that involves identifying the purpose of the lesson and developing their content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and technological knowledge.
