The pre-service students of the EDUC 203 Introduction to Computer Instructional Technology course are engaged in developing STEM lessons for K-12 curriculum using web quests as a method of instructional delivery using Web 2.0 technologies. The pre-service students are collaborating and communicating their ideas in how to use latitude and longitude readings as a basis for understanding environmental data as practical learning applications in teaching K-12 students about satellite imagery and environmental monitoring. In addition, the pre-service students have utilized the Carbon Mapper and Picture Post in understanding these instructional connections where they can devise their lessons for their web quests. The instructor for the EDUC 203 course is Mr. Ervin M. Howard. |
